This initiative is based on a tried-and-true concept that was first launched in Ireland over fifty years ago and has since been replicated in Kenya and Tanzania. It has been established in Jordan by Embassy of Ireland in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Crown Prince Foundation, and Queen Rania Foundation.

The Exhibition will be in the Al Hussein Technical University in King Hussein Business Park in Amman.
30th of April
- Final project report.
- Journals documenting the steps taken during the project and its progress over time.
- 15 or less images of the project and the students working on it.
- 10 minute maximum video in which students discuss their project or even other information.
- Picture of the poster that will be displayed at the team table on Exhibition Day.
The students will continue working on their presentation and communicating with JoYS to stay up-to-date.
The JoYS booklet includes further information; please refer to page 16 for the report requirements and pages 22, 23, and 24 for the report template. See pages 17, 25 for the poster requirements.
Bring the report and the poster that will be displayed on the team's table, as well as any tools that will be useful to you while presenting your project, such as a laptop, scotch tape, a stapler, electricity cable, wires, scissors, and Blu-Tack.
During the judging process, the judges will visit the students' booth for a total of 15 minutes. The students will have 10 minutes to present their project, followed by 5 minutes to answer any questions the judges may have.
On the first day of the exhibition, only the participating students will be allowed to enter and showcase their projects to the judges. Each team will have their own table and the judges will visit each table to begin the judging process. The teachers will be waiting outside during the judging process and will not be allowed to enter the exhibition.
On the second day, the event will officially open to the public with an Opening Ceremony. Visitors, friends, classmates, and others can come and view the projects. The second day will also feature additional entertainment activities, followed by an Award Ceremony where the winners will be announced.
Green T-shirts will be provided to the students for the Exhibition, and the teachers will inform the JoYS team of the necessary sizes at a later time.
According to JoYS terms and conditions for the year
Overnight stays at the Exhibition venue are required only for participating students and teachers from schools located in remote governorates.
