The Jordan Young Scientist (JoYS) Initiative held its second annual bootcamp in September, bringing together over 40 winning students and 15 teachers to foster innovation, creativity and social responsibility. Over the two days of the bootcamp, JoYS participants engaged in workshops on:
- Entrepreneurship Skills
- Intellectual property
- Financial literacy
- Design thinking
- Artificial intelligence
- Arduino
- Cybersecurity
A key highlight was the field visit to the Makerspace at King Hussein Business Park, which is a programme launched by the Crown Prince Foundation, where students had the opportunity to explore advanced technologies such as 3D printing and CNC machining.
