Jordan Young Scientist delegation travel to Dublin to take part in the BT Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition

The winning team from the Jordan Young Scientist (JoYS) 2023 Programme travelled to Dublin to participate in the BT Young Scientist and Technology Exhibition (BTYSTE 2024), which is now in its 60th year. The winning students had the opportunity to demonstrate their JoYS winning project, entitled "Artificial Nervous System," held at the Royal Dublin Society.
 
The delegation was visited at their booth by both the Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs and for Defence, Micheál Martin T.D., and the Minister of State for International Development and Diaspora, Seán Fleming T.D. BTYSTE founder, Dr Tony Scott, also visited the delegation at their booth, acknowledging the exceptional work and dedication of the Jordanian students.

​JoYS delegation had the opportunity of visiting many institutions such as: Trinity College, Dublin’s museums, some of the major ICT company headquarters in Dublin’s docklands, as well as the Department of Foreign Affairs in Iveagh House.
